1 x Pear
White cheddar cheese
Butter which has been softened and is spreadable
Sliced French or Italian loaf bread
Heat a cast iron skillet to medium heat.
Make the sandwich.
Make the sandwich by layering on top of each other; a slice of bread, pear slices, bacon and to end another slice of bread. Spread the top slice of bread with the butter.
Toast the sandwich.
Place the sandwich on the skillet with the butter facing down. Now spread butter on the top slice of bread facing out. Let the sandwich cook for 1 minute and then turn it over with a spatula. Use the spatula to press down on the sandwich while cooking on the other side. Once the sandwich is browned on each side and the cheese has melted it is done. Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
