2 cups ripe pears, chopped
1/3 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
¼ cup margarine, cut in cubes
¼ cup all-purpose flour
Sugar substitute equal to 2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon grated lemon rind
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Make the crumble.
Mix together the margarine, oats, flour and sweetener in a mixing bowl and set aside for use later.
Prepare the pears.
In another mixing bowl, toss the pears with the lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon rind. Place the pears into a pie dish and sprinkle the crumble over the top.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
