4 firm ripe pears, cored and quartered
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
Pinch ground dried sage
¼ teaspoon salt.
¼ teaspoon ground pepper.
Preheat the oven to 210C
Make the vinegar mixture.
Mix together the balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper and sage.
Bake the pears.
Brush the vinegar mixture over pears and place them on a greased baking sheet. Bake the pears for 14 minutes brushing them with the vinegar mixture once while baking.
Remove from the oven and serve while still warm.
