3 pears; peeled, cored and sliced
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons old-fashioned oats
2 tablespoons chopped nuts
1 tablespoon cold butter
1 dash ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Prepare the pears.
Place the pear slices into a baking dish and sprinkle over with the lemon juice.
Make the crumble.
Mix together the sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Add the butter and cut it in until the mixture becomes crumbly. Add the nuts and mix well. Pour the crumbles over the pears.
Bake the pears.
Place in the oven and bake for 25 – 30 minutes.
