110g crumbly blue cheese
220g ready-rolled puff pastry
2 ripe pears; peeled, cored and sliced
25g walnuts, lightly crushed
25g melted butter
Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Make the tarts.
Line 4 tart dishes with the pastry and prick lightly with a fork. Crumble the cheese into the tart dishes and cover this with the crushed walnuts. Place the pear slices over the walnuts and brush he pears with the melted butter.
Bake the tarts.
Place the tart dishes into the oven and bake for 12 minutes until they have risen and are golden in color.
Serve with a salad and whole walnuts.
